Third Party Access

For the purpose of processing your application, the website makes a request to Experian's 'Authenticate for Public Sector' software. The record of this request is known as a 'light footprint', which indicates that an identity check has been carried out. It states the date it occurred and the organisation that made the check. The footprint will not be seen by lenders, or be used for credit assessments. However, it will be seen by the person whose identity is being checked, should they request a copy of their credit report from Experian. The footprint for this application will be shown as: "ERS-Unicard-Concession-Bus-Pass"

Please read the Terms and Conditions displayed throughout the application process and the Privacy Statement, should you be unsure, please contact dpo@unicard-uk.com for further information.

Experian Plc will need to undertake a search on behalf of the Council for the purposes of verifying your identity. To do so Experian may check the details you supply against any particulars on any database (public or otherwise) to which they have access. They may also use your details in the future to assist other companies for verification purposes only. A record of the search will be retained exclusively for operational audit trail purposes.
